The Richard Stephens Partnership

Andrew Paterson is a Director at The Richard Stephens Partnership, a building engineering services consultancy based in Edenbridge, Kent.

Career Overview

Paterson’s career began in 1981 and he has since worked in most business sectors. In 1988, he joined WSP as a graduate engineer before attaining the position of technical director at the firm in 1999. In the role, he was responsible for a team of over 30 staff working within the company’s Holborn office.

Paterson joined The Richard Stephens Partnership in 2002 and became a Director in 2005, one year after the company was incorporated as a limited company [having initially been founded in 1987]. He has extensive experience of working within framework agreements with entities such as University College London, St George’s University of London, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and fully understands the demands of undertaking highly technical projects within fully operational and critical facilities.

With Paterson among its senior leadership team, the consultancy has gained significant and valuable project experience across most work sectors; however, it is the healthcare, laboratory and education sectors in particular, where the partnership predominantly showcases its expertise.
