Beverley Hanks is the headteacher at New Hall Primary School, a two-form entry primary school in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
Career Overview
Beverley arrived at the helm of New Hall in 2009, and immediately set about turning around a school that had been through a turbulent period with pupil outcomes and the inspectorate.
Thanks to Beverley’s leadership, the school was able to become “good”, and maintained this judgement at its most recent inspection in 2017.
In an Ofsted report, Beverley was described as a “well-established headteacher” who knows “with precision what the school’s strengths are and what needs to be done to continue to improve it.”
