Corrin Mitchell is the Human Resources [HR] executive at Dominic Care, a domiciliary care provider in Hampshire providing services for the elderly, people with physical disabilities and people with life-changing conditions.

Career Overview

Corrin has worked with Dominic Care for over a decade, starting as a carer while completing her college studies and then worked her way up the corporate ladder. She began her career whilst in college studying to become a qualified nursery practitioner. She completed her degree in Education and Social Science with English. At this stage, she sought to continue working with Dominic Care in its HR department and with the company’s support, she undertook a master’s in the form of a CIPD Level 7 Certificate in Human Resources.

In her role today, Corrin oversees all functions of the business side of the company. She is the responsible person and ensures all legal aspects and CQC requirements are met for the company, whilst specialises in ensuring that Dominic Care’s staff are engaged in their positions and satisfied with their work.

Education

Corrin holds a level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education, a degree in Education and Social Science with English and has completed a CIPD Level 7 Certificate in Human Resources. She has also completed several training courses in both practical and theory-based subjects.
