Graham Botwright is the CEO of The Gap Partnership, the world’s leading negotiation consultancy.

Career Overview

Graham began his career in retail management in the 1990s, working for businesses including Harrods, Wickes and Superdrug/Kingfisher. During this period of his professional live, he quickly learnt about the commercial impact that advanced negotiation training and skills can have on the performance of a business.

Graham then moved into consultancy, initially with Arthur Andersen in 1999, to put into practice his passion for sharing his personal commercial experience and expertise with other firms to help them better their commercial performances.

In 2002, Graham then joined The Gap Partnership, which at the time was in its fledgling days of development. Under his leadership - since climbing the ladder within the organisation to go from practitioner to COO to CEO - it has since grown to become the world leading consultancy in negotiation. It now provides consultancy services on many aspects including M&As, union disputes, annual sales reviews and joint business planning, as well as offering negotiation training.

The Gap Partnership today works with some of the biggest and most respected firms in the world and supports them in critical negotiation processes.

In August 2021, Graham appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on his career to date.

Education
