Kate Neil is the Managing Director and Head of Quality Assurance for the Centre for Nutrition Education & Lifestyle Management. 

Career Overview

Kate opened the Centre in 2001 with the vision of providing high quality education in nutritional therapy and science. Kate initially trained as a nurse and midwife, and in the 1980's retrained as a nutritional therapist.

Kate has developed, directed and taught on courses in nutritional therapy for 30 years and has run a busy practice over most of that time, specialising in women’s health and supporting parents with children within the learning disorder spectrum. 

Kate authored Balancing Hormones Naturally in the 1990's, which was one of the first public-centred publications to report on the impact of environment on hormonal balance. 

Kate contributed many public-centred articles between the late 1980's and 2000's. She was Founding Editor of The Nutrition Practitioner journal, which was published for 16 years. Kate has contributed chapters to books aimed at professionals and has been an invited guest speaker at many conferences. 

Kate now mostly focuses on directing the Centre and overseeing and enhancing quality along with leading the senior management teams.
