Career Overview

Lee Healey founded IncomeMax CIC in 2009, having previously worked for DABD, a charity that promotes independent living, inclusion and personal development throughout London.

Under Healey’s stewardship, IncomeMax CIC has rapidly grown, and with that growth has been able to assist thousands of the hardest hit of society. In January 2020, Lee Healey appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the role it has played in his career to date.

Healey is an alumnus of Staffordshire University, where he studied for a Certificate in Money Advice Practice, Debt and Money Advice.

Advisory Work

From 1993 to 1997, Healey worked in the public sector for the Department for Work and Pensions. He then moved onto DABD, a charity based in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham which seeks to enable socially excluded people to independently live, integrate into society and personally develop themselves.

Between 2001 and 2003, Healey worked as a vocational trainer and assessor for Advice UK before moving back to DABD, where he remained until mid-2009, the time of IncomeMax's foundation.

Since 2016, Healey has sat on the advisory board of Money and Mental Health, an independent charity committed to breaking the link between financial difficulty and mental health problems. He became a board member of Money Advice Liaison Group Ltd in the same year, and continues to champion its aims for greater and better communication, best practice, understanding and professionalism among organisations with an interest in personal debt.
