Little Dots Daycare

Lynsey Morris is one of the co-founders of Little Dots Daycare, a nursery and pre-school education establishment situated in Witney, Oxfordshire. Alongside her sister Clair Way, Lynsey is deeply passionate about the significance of early childhood development and education. Recognising the importance of providing a structured yet enjoyable educational experience, they established Little Dots Daycare in 2012 to nurture confident, happy, and inquisitive children before they embark on their journey to school.

Career Overview

Lynsey Morris's career journey began at the age of 18 when she ventured to New Jersey to work as a Nanny for two young children for a year. Following this experience, her career path led her to sales management roles before she took a break to become a full-time mother upon the birth of her son in 2008. During this time, Lynsey embraced the role of a devoted mother and valued the opportunity to focus on her family.

When Lynsey and her sister, Clair Way, co-founded Little Dots Daycare in 2012, they combined Lynsey's management expertise with Clair's extensive knowledge of child care. This complementary partnership allowed them to create a vibrant and enriching childcare facility for the town of Witney, where children could thrive and develop through engaging experiences.

Their mother, affectionately known as 'Nanny Kitchen' by the children, was employed by the nursery and provided catering for the youngsters under its care until her retirement.

In 2015, Lynsey welcomed her second child into her family, and this child became an integral part of the Little Dots Daycare community, attending the nursery from the baby room until transitioning to pre-school to prepare for school.

In 2018, Lynsey and Clair seised the opportunity to expand Little Dots Daycare by acquiring a new Nursery setting in the picturesque North Leigh, set within the serene Eynsham Park Estate. This new location offers a beautiful environment for children, surrounded by nature and historical significance, fostering an ideal setting for exploration, play, and learning.

Beyond her role in co-founding Little Dots Daycare, Lynsey is also actively involved as one of the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) professionals at both settings. Her dedication to providing inclusive and supportive care further highlights her commitment to meeting the unique needs of every child.

In October 2020, Morris appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on her career to date.
