Rekha is an Operating Partner at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, a global leader in private infrastructure equity investing. She has held her role since 2021.

She is formerly the Vice President and General Manager of Fire Suppression Products at Johnson Controls and worked with JCI for over 10 years, working across many areas of the company.

Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the company has a history dating back to 1885. Today, Johnson Controls has dozens of offices across the United Kingdom and Rekha is at the forefront of leading the business as it protects hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses across Britain and Ireland.

In February 2020 Rekha appeared on an episode of the Leaders Council podcast where she discussed the importance of leadership and the qualities it requires in running a successful business.

Education

Rekha holds a BSc and MSc in Mathematics & Engineering from Queen's University, and completed a PhD in Statistics at the University of Waterloo in 1997.

A proven track record

Before her time with Morgan Stanley and Johnson Controls, Rekha made her name with GE Corporate in the 1990s and early 2000s as a statistician and then a Six Sigma Leader. She was appointed vice president of the Six Sigma division of GE Fanuc in 2001. She remained director of Six Sigma until 2006, before moving into the Corporate Planning division of Tyco International, the firm which purchased Six Sigma in 2004.

In 2007, Rekha moved on to spend two years with ADT Security Services in an Area General Manager and then Regional Director role. In October 2009, she then crossed over to ADT's Global Operations division where she served as vice president for business development.

2011 then saw Rehka move onto pastures new, in the shape of a regional manager's role with SimplexGrinnell. She would remain there until March 2015, when she moved to Tyco Fire Protection Products. While there, she occupied the role of vice president and general manager for Water and Mechanical Segment. She remained in post until 2021, balancing the role with her responsibilities at Johnson Controls. She relinquished both posts to take up her current capacity at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners.
