London based insurance company GG Insurance Services, which provides specialist insurance solutions to the games industry, has announced that it is expanding overseas to the United States.
The company, which forms part of the General & Medical Group, first launched in the UK in 2018 after a requirement for specialist gaming solutions came about within the insurance market. Following their growing success, GG Insurance Services have now taken the decision to extend their business overseas and have opened a fully licensed office in America.
As part of this expansion, GG Insurance Services have collaborated with IGDA – The International Game Developers Association, the world’s largest non-profit membership organisation serving all individuals who create games.

This means we are now able to better assist our clients in the USA, with a wider range of options and more flexible international support from our local team. As well as being the leading gaming market in terms of revenue, the United States is also considered by many as the birthplace of gaming as we know it today.
The US games market is not far behind China as the top market by gaming revenue, estimated at $36.921 million in 2020 according to Newszoo.
